our vision is to eliminate homelessness

Our mission is to provide Christ-centered programs and services that lead the homeless toward self-sufficiency

OUR MISSION

To provide Christ-centered programs and services that lead the homeless toward self-sufficiency.

This is accomplished through collaborative efforts with the community, unique social service programs, volunteers, staff, and a strong Board of Directors. We serve the homeless through two shelters, Faith Mission and Faith Refuge. All services are made possible through the generosity of individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations. Faith Resale & Donation Center also returns profits to help with operating expenses of both shelters.

OUR PROGRAMS

IT'S ABOUT BUILDING A NEW LIFE

With compassion and grace, we are here to help those in need re-build their lives.  With Jesus as our example and the Bible as our guide we seek to empower men and women through spiritual, professional and educational growth programs in a faith-based atmosphere.

Homeless Shelter Services

We provide emergency shelter services to those in need.  Beds, showers, food, and clothing are provided to individuals 365 days a year.

CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

We offer a planned approach to goal setting and accountability so that people experiencing homelessness or addiction can get the services and support they need to become self-sufficient.

ADDICTION RECOVERY PROGRAM

New Beginnings is a seven to nine month residential program that provides addiction recovery classes, Bible studies, anger management coaching, life coaching, counseling, and work therapy.

Job Readiness

Our goal is that every able-bodied man and woman has the skills and confidence they need to support themselves and their family. These programs provide a variety of training and growth opportunities for each participant.

TRANSITIONAL SUPPORTIVE HOUSING

With case management support, the qualifying program graduate will reside in a sober-living, supportive house with other program graduates and a resident manager at a reduced rate while gaining the skills and resources for independent living.

SOCIAL SERVICES Initiative

From the moment a client walks in the door, our programs and services are designed to help them on a path to self-sufficiency. The Social Services Initiative combines all our resources and staff into one continuum of care for a more efficient and effective experience for each client.

VOLUNTEERS ARE OUR CHAMPIONS!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

“What Faith Refuge means to me is a second chance, a second chance at life.”

Thanks to everyone’s generous support of the Mission, Charla was able to join our New Beginnings Recovery Program. Charla says that now her kids eyes light up when they see her, instead of looking at her like “Mom, really?!”
